• BIOs Edward Lucey and Eric Vitale

  Owners President and Vice President

  

  Edward Lucey is President and Eric Vitale is Vice President of Interphase Electric Corp. Both Ed and Eric were born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. They both attended William E. Grady Vocational High School and graduated in 1972.

  Ed and Eric attended several electrical classes to broaden their knowledge in the electrical field. They also attended Staten Island Community College and studied electrical engineering.

  They both received their master electrical license in 1978 making Ed and Eric the youngest persons to receive their master electrical license (Ed was 23 when he received his license).

  Ed and Eric started Interphase Electric Corp. in September, 1978 and built the company on some core values:

  • Do the job the best you can with pride in what you do.
  • Be fair to your customers. Do a good job at a fair and reasonable price.
  • Be good to your workers for they are the backbone of your operation.
  • Have integrity and be ethical with all your customers, for every customer we serve we want them to be a totally satisfied and a repeated customer.

• Joan Lucey- Lo Schiavo

  Office Manager

  

  I was born and raised in Brooklyn and attended Bay Ridge High School and graduated in 1965.

  I entered into the electrical industry over 30 years working for an electrical company who manufactured lighting fixtures. I worked in the Account Receivable, Accounts Payable Dept. as a biller.

  I joined the staff of Interphase Electric in 1983. I have seen the company go from doing small residential jobs and all paper work done by hand, to doing all high profile jobs for the city such as City Hall, Museum of NY and all paper work done by computers.

  I have seen Interphase Electric go from a store front office in Brooklyn to a beautiful brand new office in Lynbrook.

  I am office manager who oversees the daily routine of the company along with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Payment Requisitions, Certified Payroll reports.

  I am also a Notary Public in the State of NY County of Richmond.

• Tammy Lo Schiavo – Perez

  Secretary

  

  I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I attended Bishop Ford High School and St. Francis College.

  I joined the staff of Interphase Electric in 1994 as a secretary. When I started the office was in a small building where five of us shared one office. Today we are located in a beautiful brand new building in Lynbrook where we all have our own office area.

  I am the safety officer and do all the safety programs for the company.

  My duties include emails, typing, answering phones, and all special computer tasks. I train the staff in using any new software such as Computer Ease, Microsoft Office Outlook just to name a few.

  I do the setting up of jobs including all phases and codes for the jobs. I keep track of all RFI's and ASI's on the jobs.

  I have seen the company grow from doing residential work to doing all work with the city agencies such as the Parks Dept., DDC, Health and Hospital, DEP just to name a few.

• Mahmood Kazi

  Electrical Project Estimator

  

  I was born and raised in Khulna, Bangladesh. I attended St. Joseph's High School/Banga Bandhu College and graduated in 1987. I continued by education and received my BS in electrical engineering from the Lublin Technical University in Lublin, Poland in January 1997.

  I have been working in the electrical field for the past ten years.

  I joined the staff of Interphase Electrical in 2009 as an electrical project estimator and engineer. My job duties consist of preparing a detailed quantity take off, cost analysis and prepare estimate for all bidding projects.

  I am looking forward to helping Interphase Electric on their path to go forward and to take the next step into the electrical industry.
